CHI SIAMO
L.S.L. Marchese Vittorino s.r.l. is established right after World War II in Turin (Italy) thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of Vittorino Marchese who decides to start his own business working out of two garages located near his home, after having worked as an employee.

The early years are marked by numerous and heavy investments in machinery and Marchese's daughter Alessandra, who had since joined the company, experienced many difficulties to manage liquid assets. Post-war development and the start of automobile production in Italy help L.S.L. Marchese become a leading FIAT supplier.
The company's sales start to become more dynamic than before and Marchese's brother-in-law, Aldo Gambaudo, joins the firm in addition to his daughter Alessandra. Mr. Gambaudo gets involved in the technical side of the company and offers solutions able to significantly reduce production costs. The company's liquid assets finally improve thanks to an increased product margin and to FIAT Group's payments which are always on time.

In the late '60s L.S.L. Marchese needs to expand: sales are increasing, customer orders are progressively larger in terms of quantities and the company needs to take a qualitative leap by improving production lines and by better structuring its internal workflow procedures. In order to do so, the company needs to relocate and establishes its new headquarters in Via Reiss Romoli, in an area that would later become an industrial one.
Business continues to grow, but Vittorino Marchese sadly passes away leaving his daughter Alessandra and his brother-in-law Aldo to run the company alone. They succeed in carrying on Vittorino Marchese's work in spite of the difficulties and the company manages to overcome the hardships of the 70s, when it begins to enter a maturity phase characterized by languishing sales and an unrenewed product range. With the arrival of Enrico Lo Savio and the support of Aldo Gambaudo, joining the company's sales after having acquired experience working in the workshop, L.S.L. Marchese is once more dealing with customer's purchasing departments and sales begin to rise again.

After a few months work in the workshop, Antonio Sconfienza also begins to work in the company's offices to modernize it and to help L.S.L. Marchese meet the 80s new challenge: quality. Sconfienza leads the company to attain its quality certification.
Sales continue to grow during the 90s even when new machinery and automation investments deplete most of the company's liquidity. Thanks to Alessandra Marchese's sound management, the company avoids getting into debt steering clear of fatal future economic crises. Aldo Gambaudo enhances workshop's cost analysis and control in order to ascertain actual product manufacturing costs.

Maurizio Prato joins the company in 2001 and starts to immediately work on two areas: accounting and management control. He improves accounting work flow and computerizes management control, while Antonio Sconfienza gets into sales and starts to bring customers into new business sectors differing from the automotive one, trying to meet the difficult challenge to diversify.
During 2003-2004, the company decides to increase its energy and resources towards environmental activities which lead it to attain the ISO 14001 certification with the help of consultants.
Accounting data management is further improved during 2007 endeavoring to make it a useful business management tool and to rationalize accounts. The foundation for organic industrial accounting reflecting the company's actual overall performance is established. Workshop tests and inspections are carried out in 2009 to ascertain machinery's theoretical cycles and to computerize time control.
Costs accounting directly linked with time control begins to be regularly performed during 2010 and reaches full capacity in 2011.
